This is the beautiful Eli, who has recently been a regular visitor to Anderson’s Vets – Bromley North for his acupuncture treatment.

The scientific (medical or veterinary) form of acupuncture began with the traditional theory of placing needles into special locations on the body, to alleviate pain and improve recovery. With some changes from the traditional approach, there is now abundant evidence supporting the effectiveness of modern veterinary acupuncture. It is used commonly as an adjunctive treatment, alongside conventional medications, for the treatment of painful conditions such as arthritis, muscle strains, pain secondary to spinal disc disease and bony changes of the spine. Modern veterinary acupuncture works by inhibiting the painful nerve pathways, improving local circulation and stimulating the release of pain-relieving endorphins.

We’re so glad that the treatment has helped Eli in his recovery, and grateful for the lovely review from his owners below.

“I cannot recommend Anderson’s highly enough. From day one, the level of care and attention Eli has experienced has been exceptional! The Anderson’s team have not only provided Eli with excellent care, but they have also gone above and beyond the normal and expected level for a Veterinary Practice, spending time explaining and reassuring my partner and I. We are so grateful for your amazing services and cannot thank you enough for all that you do. If you love your pet and want the best possible care for them, Anderson’s is the only Vet for you! 😊”
